Alpha Card is celebrating further growth following the acquisition of German specialist print agency, Card Media, just weeks after its expansion into the US.

Having worked with Munich based Card Media for a number of years, this was a natural step for Alpha Card, which will now include the German site and workforce under its growing brand.

Lisa Ambros, German Territory Business Development Manager at Alpha Card, will head up the company’s Munich office. She commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome the Card Media team into the Alpha Card fold!

“Card Media, established in 2001, has been a very important part of our work in the European Market so it’s very exciting to be able to develop our partnership with them. We look forward to our teams’ continued collaboration going forward.”

Founded in 2013, Alpha Card has established itself as the UK’s leading manufacturer of Z-folding cards, achieving 25% growth year-on-year in the face of the growing digital market.

The firm has produced approaching 50 million products in just five years for almost every market sector, boasting clients throughout the UK as well as mainland Europe, Africa and North America, ranging from SMEs, government both local and national and multinationals such as Shell and Toyota.

Ian Whitfield, Managing Director of Alpha Card, said: “This year has been all about further growth in international markets and we’re delighted with what we’ve achieved so far.

It’s a pleasure to welcome Card Media into the Alpha Card family and we’re very much looking forward to working closely with our new German colleagues and building our team even further.”

"Our products are used to help clients create engagement with their marketing, advertising or communications content. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality products and service to a wide variety of market sectors, and I’m certain that this acquisition will help us to further improve our client services.”
